Case Management: Planning and Coordinating Strategies

Abstract

An attempt to conceptualize case management as an administrative function with emphasis on interorganizational coordination & conflict resolution, utilizing the example of Medicaid in NJ. Also analyzed are the strategies utilized to overcome political & professional barriers to implementation. It is concluded that planning a case management system involves moving through the following sequenced but overlapping stages: developmental, phase-in, & operational. 24 References. Modified AA
