An Introduction to Research in Interorganizational Relations (IOR)
Abstract
Research in interorganizational relations (IOR) is reviewed on three
levels of analysis: organizational, dyadic, & interorganizational.
Major conceptual frameworks are considered, & a sampling of
applications & issues discussed. The kinds of organizations,
issues in their environments, & perceptions of involvement are
discussed at each level. The need for greater interrelation of
scholarly & applied work in IOR is stressed. 2 Tables, 66
