Educational Impact of Graduate Nonprofit Degree Programs: Perspectives of Multiple Stakeholders

Abstract

A critical ingredient for the success of almost any nonprofit management endeavor must be the capacity to connect meaningfully with nonprofit institutions and to satisfy concerns articulated by their leadership. The success of many business schools in offering MBA's and executive education programs is attributable in no small measure to their strong linkages with the local, regional, or national corporate community. It was not until 1992 that the first attempt was made to gauge the success of the nonprofit management degree programs that had developed in the United States.
