Improving the International Classification of Nonprofit Organizations
Abstract
Six recommendations for improving the International Classification of
Nonprofit Organizations (CNPO) are discussed. The improvements are
suggested not to change or invalidate prior classifications but to
refine future data gathering & classification. Differences between
the ICNPO & the National Taxonomy of Exempt Entities are
highlighted.
