Correlates of participation in neighborhood organizations

Abstract

The authors present research assessing participation in neighborhood organizations in Detroit. Analyzed are the organizational and community factors associated with the quality of participation. The authors relate a measure of participation quality to several of these factors and use it as a basis for conclusions about practice in the field.
