Ensuring Social Work Administration
Abstract
Leadership positions in the social services are often occupied by
economists, lawyers, & management graduates, among others, rather
than social work professionals who are educated to be social work
administrators. This editorial identifies some of the barriers that
exist both in graduate schools & in the field of social work which
impede social work administrators holding more leadership positions in
